Meet Tracy Goodman
Founder of Mrs. Goodman’s Goodies
Born and raised in Utica, New York, Tracy Goodman is the heart and soul behind Mrs. Goodman’s Goodies. As the proud owner and creative force behind the bakery, Tracy brings a lifetime of passion, imagination, and tradition to every treat she bakes.
Coming from a large, tight-knit family, Tracy’s love for baking began early. She was inspired by the women who came before her—her mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and other beloved female relatives—who filled their kitchens with warmth, laughter, and the irresistible scent of homemade desserts. Baking wasn’t just a skill; it was a legacy passed down through generations, and one that Tracy was eager to make her own.
A self-proclaimed dessert fiend, Tracy has had a sweet tooth for as long as she can remember. Even as a child, she was a picky eater—but when it came to sweets, her creativity knew no bounds. What started as a curious obsession with treats soon became a full-fledged passion. One bite of a dessert could spark a dozen new ideas, and before long, what was once “just food” turned into a lifelong love affair with baking.
At Mrs. Goodman’s Goodies, Tracy gives a new school twist to old school favorites. Her treats are a playful remix of traditional desserts, blending nostalgic flavors with bold, modern creativity. Each bite is a tribute to the women who inspired her and the imaginative little girl who turned her love of sweets into something truly special.
